Gab owns their own servers and so they cannot be held hostage by big tech. They also don't need mobile apps, as their website is coded to present optimally on a mobile browser. All you need to do is navigate to the site on your web browser and you can pin the website to your phone as a shortcut. You then get an icon button with the Gab logo, just like it was an app all along.
Pretty clever of Gab.
And they are adding a bunch of servers this weekend, so they must have anticipated this.
They even have a realDonaldTrump account that has been archiving Trump's tweets for some time now. So all Trump has to do is come over to Gab and bring about 80 million people with him.
Gab is going to need a lot more servers!
