I have Prime until February so I need to cancel it by then.
I canceled my prime account the last time Amazon did some SJW nonsense that aggravated me. I didn’t realize it at the time but canceling prime doesn’t close your account. That turned out to be a good thing since I still had an open account to close, which I just did. Now I’ll just use Amazon like an old brick and mortar store. Comparison shop see which vendors have their own web sales then buy directly from the vendor.
DOD has a cloud contract called JEDI. If the cloud companies can unplug services because they do not agree with something, what does that mean for DOD when an unpopular war/conflict happens? The companies need some regulation.

You don’t have to go anywhere to cancel Amazon Prime. You can do it online, just like you have typed your post online.
