President-Elect Joe Biden said he will ensure there is a “thorough investigation” by the Justice Department into officials of President Donald Trump’s administration who crafted and carried out the “Zero Tolerance” policy at the United States-Mexico border to deter illegal immigration.
During a press conference on January 8, Biden committed to having the Justice Department open an investigation into Trump officials who carried out the Zero Tolerance policy through which adult border crossers entered separate custody from the children they arrived at the southern border with.
The practice, as Breitbart News noted, has been employed since before 2001, though the Trump administration ended the effort in June 2018.

It’s so far gratifying to see Sleepy China Joe throw his leftist base under the bus. A pointless investigation is a great way to deflect the open borders demands. Unfortunately it means when Kameltoe shivs Sleepy in the back come Fourth of July or so, the leftist looms will do their own ransacking of the White House.

Biden was selected to run for President because he was the only one of the Presidential candidate options that was not unelectable due to being too far Left from the mainstream
Republicans, Libertarians and over half the Democrat base hates the guy so he has very little actual public support

He has the office. Look what Trump accomplished without support. Joe’s handlers will exercise the power same power Trump had and enjoy control of Congress. If they stack the Supreme Court in the first 6 months they’ll control the entire federal government. Plus they will have the support of the bureaucracy, DOJ, FBI, and CIA which Trump did not have.
In addition Joe will have more real support from GOP senators than Trump enjoyed. GOP senators will compromise and make deals for their donors. Romney, Graham, Murkowski, Collins, Sasse, Cornyn, Burr, Rubio, Tillis, Toomey, and others will play the bipartisan game to get crumbs from the table.
Joe will have a fawning press that never questions his policies and always covers hid gaffes.
Finally Joe won’t know if he is happy or not. He is clearly a puppet with declining mental faculties. His staff will govern from the basement. Limited, highly scripted and contrived public appearances. Most communications from written scripts delivered by aides. Joe will be locked up in the residence sitting in a chair watching TV.
Joe thinks it’s a better idea to leave the children with their traffickers.
