Financial-technology company’s move follows last week’s riot at the Capitol

Stripe Inc. will no longer process payments for President Trump’s campaign website following last week’s riot at the Capitol, according to people familiar with the matter.

The financial-technology company handles card payments for millions of online businesses and e-commerce platforms, including Mr. Trump’s campaign website and online fundraising apparatus. Stripe is cutting off the president’s campaign account for violating its policies against encouraging violence, the people said.

Spokespeople for the Trump campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

And Christian bakers can still be run out of business for choosing not make a special cake for a gay wedding.

Of course Muslim bakers who refuse are not targeted for being run out of business.

And now conservatives are not allowed to use financial services, or use communication services.

Shall we thank our new masters that we are still allowed to by food....for now?

Does anyone understand the real power a unified group of 75 million disaffected voters could wield??

A Credit Card Processing company? what if 75 Million People just STOPPED using Credit Cards and decided to PAY CASH for 100% of their Purchase for the next 4 years?? I have done it for Years, Most if Not all would be Bankrupt in 6 months, and at 4 years they would all be gone.

This would also likely destroy a few Banks in the process, they only survive because of the revolving debt.

I posted this yesterday in another thread, and the same goes for the idea. It would CRIPPLE the Money Grip.

Did you know that if 10%-20% of ANY Financial Institution’s customers CLOSE their Account and Withdraw all their funds in CASH and only CASH, that Institution will be Insolvent Immediately and SHUT DOWN by the Banking Regulators, see Continental and IndyMac. If you don’t withdraw the funds in CASH they can keep the con going with fancy internal accounting, but with the DEPLETION of CASH RESERVES they CLOSE!!!

agree 1000%....in many ways the timing of this could not be better for us. The left and their corporate minions are showing their true colors and there aren’t any elections for a long time...

Of course the GOPe has no backbone to fight, so once again its up to us...

The incitement of violence is the Big Lie. Anyone who promotes it a guilty of slander and should make Trump a pile of money. The Nick Sandmann defamation case should be the precedent.

Yeah getting paid by direct deposit will be interesting, as will paying most bills without a bank account. As more places go to online delivery only, that’s off-limits too. Most grocery stores are semi-automated with self-checkout. That’s impossible too.

I don’t actually remember the last time I actually used cold hard cash or a check for anything outside the Philippines (here is a mostly cash-only society, with little credit card use).

Isn’t this the opportunity for conservative businessmen to form replacement companies?

How, exactly, did the president "encourage violence?"

What are the exact words he used?

Was the city burned down? Businesses looted? Molotov cocktails thrown at the police? Statues pulled down and destroyed?

Asking for 75 million friends

People just STOPPED using Credit Cards and decided to PAY CASH for 100% of their Purchase for the next 4 years??

This is becoming more and more common where I live. We must starve the beast as much as possible.

Paid cash for new tires (at request of tire store), a holiday dinner I had catered (got a 15% discount plus desserts added for free), always at my hair and nail salon (their request) and more. I'm asked to pay in case. I have a debit card that can be used like a credit card that I need for travel, otherwise, it's cash and carry (and everyone is happy).

RNC Ronna and Mitch are not concerned. They’ve completed their Union with Dims...only the Uniparty exists, at this time...in power, in DC.

I use the self-checkout as much as possible at the grocery store, Lowe's, WalMart, etc. It's far faster and I can pack my groceries and other purchases far better than they do.

All of the above accept cash in the self-service checkout machines.

This all tells me that if you ever plan on winning this war you better start fighting now because if all this takes root you won’t win.

Do they accept cash for things like DoorDash, ClickList (grocery pickup at Kroger), rental cars, hotels or airline tickets? And ordering online must be a pain. Most companies no longer do C.O.D. Sending money home to the Philippines takes 15 seconds with an app and debit card. In a store, wastes 30 minutes or more waiting for customer service to process. And at least at Safeway, couldn’t do it after 5pm.

Maybe a conservative credit card or card processor will be better

Cash transactions are easy to stop. Feds can direct banks to limit cash withdrawals to mere pocket change if one is identified as a MAGA supporters. Probably will be a feature of a new Patriot Act.
