Something that I recently read was that the SCOTUS has ruled that social media access is a “civil right,” when a convicted sex offender in NC was banned from access to social media by NC state law, and that was overturned by the SCOTUS!

I’ll bet that Trump could force Twitter, FB, and the rest of them to allow citizen Trump back on, and I would also say, they SHOULD be charged with election interference.

Bump for later.

I’ve read a little bit about how an “open area” (such as a public park) is open for free speech. And the comparison has been made to Twitter, etc.

OTOH, Twitter is a privately owned company (like FreeRepublic) that can make its own rules.

Of course, if a private company like a bakery doesn’t want to bake a cake for a homosexual marriage.... Or the coffee store doesn’t want to serve a black person....
