Canada: After Keystone, We'd Rather Sell Oil to China(flashback)
Breitbart ^ | 4-3-2012 | John Sexton

Solyndra is no longer the administration’s biggest energy blunder. Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper appeared a think tank event held in Washington yesterday.

Harper said Obama’s rejection of the controversial pipeline — even temporarily — stressed Canada’s need to find other buyers for oilsands crude.

And that wouldn’t change even if the president’s mind did.

“Look, the very fact that a ‘no’ could even be said underscores to our country that we must diversify our energy export markets,” Harper told Harman in front of a live audience

Canada could make more money by creating a market for its oil rather than selling all of it solely to the US. In other words, the cost of Canadian oil will go up as the US is forced to compete with China.

Trushit would not want to sell oil to China when he can give them Alberta’s oil fields for a relative song.

The problem is finding a way to get it to the Pacific Ocean. There is only one outlet at Kitimat. The natives are restless.

Only the ones being paid by Soros and American billionaires. At least 85% of natives support a pipeline to the coast, because it means work on the pipeline for them as well as jobs in the oil patch.

But Trueshit only makes a point of listening the Soros paid natives to make an arguement that natives don’t want it.

Biden is going to cancel the Keystone Pipeline lease on Day 1.
Canadian energy will have to find new markets.

Shell and Petronas (with the Chinese) are building an LNG export terminal north of Vancouver which will become operational in 2025

It will suck every bit of gas out of Western Canada that is presently going to the US Gulf and Chicago.

Trueshit wants to apply the screws to Alberta to allow a quasi-nationalization of our oil, basically giving Quebec ownership of the oil or Alberta will not get the oil to the coast.

If it’s in Vancouver, it’s America’s natural gas that will be piped through there. Premier Horrible will not allow Alberta to pipe its oil through his province.

Never trust the Federal Quebec party. It’s all about Quebec, that is all.

I am confused. Hasn’t this thing been completed by now and pumping oil? Obviously not. The border wall will come down as well as this pipeline.

In the mean time, Turdeau has invited China to send it’s Army into Canada and build training bases there.

Maybe the things are related.

Bottom line, someone is going to use the gas and oil.
If that someone is China, we have zero controls on how it's used or the possible ensuing pollution.
The supposed existential threat is global.
At least we could use it cleanly.
