The Los Angeles Times published an analysis of President-elect Joe Biden’s forthcoming policies and concluded that he wants to “make America California again.” Not the Ronald Reagan version: rather, the contemporary left-wing bubble.

Good. I want to see my neighbors dodge feces in the street while telling me how wonderful Joe and the Ho are. They can cling to their monthly check from the government, because their are no jobs, and when a job becomes open, an “immigrant” takes it at less than the going wage.

My mother was upset that I retired and decided to move to Texas instead of returning to CA. Being away from CA, I see clearly just how much the state has deteriorated, much more than people who live there and see the changes so gradually they might not be aware of them at all.
Leftists claim to be concerned about the widening gap between rich and poor. Yet the policies they support are designed to crush the middle class, leaving only the dirt poor and ultra rich. With the high cost of living in CA, if you are making a typical middle class income, you are probably scraping by. The amount I paid for a house in TX would barely get me a run-down one room shack in a bad neighborhood back in the area where I grew up.
Nope, I told my mother. I don’t want to give up my standard of living for the “privilege” of living in CA, especially now that I’m retired with a reduced income.
So far, whenever we’ve told someone that we just moved here, they say we’re going to love it.
Joe Biden will turn America into California.
Biden doesn’t even know where California is.

I’ve been saying this for awhile. The nation finds itself somewhere between 1996 & 2006 California. 1996 was Prop 187 (Save Our State from being bankrupted by illegal aliens) and Jerry Brown being elected governor again after a 30 year break.
