During CNN’s Inauguration coverage on Wednesday, host Jake Tapper responded to Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) tweet criticizing President Biden for rejoining the Paris Climate Accords as Biden being “more interested in the views of the citizens of Paris than in the jobs of the citizens of Pittsburgh” by stating that Cruz voted “to throw out the votes of, not just the citizens of Pittsburgh, but the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.”

its funny how people on tv fail to understand sound reasoning. PA tainted their entire vote by putting unlawful ballots in with lawful ballots. If the people of PA want to do something about that, they should start with their own government.

As part of his $2 trillion “Equitable Clean Energy Future” agenda, President Biden has pledged to recommit America to the Paris Climate Agreement (drafted in 2015, signed in 2016) that proposes to eliminate carbon emissions from electricity by 2035, and shift from oil, natural gas and coal to achieve “net-zero carbon” emissions by 2050.
This would occur as China and India which have represented 80% of the emission increases and are not bound to the pact, are dramatically ramping up coal and oil development.
Although Beijing agreed to peak its emissions by 2030, they have a pass to do nothing to stem growth of CO2 emission growth during the 15 years leading up to that deadline...
President Trump wisely withdrew the U.S. from the Paris pact and President Obama’s commitments which included a pledge of $3 billion from American taxpayers to the U.N.’s Green Climate Fund by 2020 along with having developed countries eventually pay $100 billion annually to developing countries to ambiguously “mitigate climate change.”
In reality, the U.S. had never actually signed on to the agreement — which would have required Senate treaty ratification — something that wouldn’t previously have happened.
The Paris “agreement” was actually a non-treaty in any case, since each nation set their own emission goals with no penalties...
Under EPA chief, Gina McCarthy, the Obama-Biden CPP plan had proposed to install the equivalent electricity of 270,000 wind turbines (three times the total global installed capacity), or 750 GW of solar power (125 times the installed capacity globally.)...
McCarthy has now been nominated to serve as a Cabinet-level Biden administration “climate czar” who will be responsible for coordinating climate actions across numerous agencies and Congress.

As I’ve said for a while, you can’t run what we think of in the US as a modern civilization on so-called Green Energy.
It is long past time to start calling people on this.

Tapper obtuse and stupid as always-— the PA legislature wanted the Election Laws to be followed and represent what their people wanted... accurately in the Presidential Electors-— which was for Trump, the shale oil revolution, the jobs coming back— and the ridiculous expenditure of US government support of our Energy independence WASTED on a bunch of EU slob countries bleeding us dry.
Trump spoke and did things to prevent all of this. America First. And it was never... never the German American Bund crapola of the pro-Nazis-— because THAT is exactly who the IRA irish gangster Biden crew is. The Nazi fifth column generations of Americans fought to get rid of, along with the Communists of Russia, and China.
They understand wrong from right.
They just don’t care when wrong is done.
Which presupposes “the votes” of PA were legit - which we know they were not.
Tapper conflates two independent events. What a buffoon.
They can mess up a bunch of other stuff in the process, but nothing Lord Kerry or Sandy Cortez or anyone else does is going to have any impact on the climate, which will keep on changing like it has for millennia.
