He got the record the old fashioned way.
He didn't cheat.

Just saw this on the news. I have a family member who played for the Braves, and through him I met Hank and got an autographed baseball. Nice guy.

Greatest player I ever had the honor of seeing in person.

He will always be the HOMERUN KING, not the bloated steroid injected fraud.

Holy crap — how many MLB players, coaches and hall of famers have we lost in the last year, especially the last six months?! It seems like one passes every week.

I remember watching the night he broke the Babe’s record. RIP to a great player and a great man.

No mention of the vaccination in the above article.

Hope to heck the vaccine didn’t do it.

I can't recall if I ever saw Aaron play in person. For me, the greatest player I ever saw was Willie Mays.

Willie was my first sports hero, my dad took me to many Giants games at Candlestick.

Today's players can't compare to Willie, Hank, and Mickey. Willie hit 660 homeruns, and never weighed more than 210 pounds.

Hmm, not sure that’ll be the message he wanted to send.

I got to see Hank Aaron play once. Was hoping that he would hit a home run in the game—he didn’t but he did hit a double.

When I am umpiring Little League games, and some kid is farting around with his batting gloves not getting in the box, I say, “Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron each hit over 700 home runs without batting gloves. Get in the box.”
