Democrats question election results: 'We just trust the machines and we shouldn't'
The Washington Times ^ | JANUARY 24, 2021 | SETH MCLAUGHLIN

Posted on 01/24/2021 2:50:59 PM PST by E. Pluribus Unum

Matt Luceen didn’t vote for former President Donald Trump in 2020, but he came to Washington last week to protest President Biden’s inauguration, saying the election was flawed.

Mr. Luceen, a supporter of Sen. Bernard Sanders, said he toted signs that read “COUNT OUR VOTES BY HAND,” and “End the charade.”

“We don’t ever really put the paper into piles and count them by hand anymore,” the 34-year-old computer programmer said. “We just trust the machines and we shouldn’t because we have documented proof that these machines are vulnerable.”

While former President Trump and his supporters have been explosively vocal about their distrust of the election system, discontent runs through a broad swath of voters from across the political spectrum.

In 2016, it was Democrats complaining that the election had been tainted by Russian interference. Two years later, the party complained that Stacey Abrams had been denied the Georgia governorship because of shenanigans with voting rolls.

Ms. Abrams never conceded, and Democrats — who took control of the U.S. House in those 2018 elections — made her cause a rallying cry, vowing to repair elections.

In 2020, it was Mr. Trump sewing complaints early and often, arguing mail-in voting was fraud, suggesting that votes were being manufactured for his opponent, and suggesting some vote-counting systems were siphoning his votes away while building the totals for Mr. Biden.

But Democrats had their own complaints, too. Mr. Luceen feels the nomination was stolen from Mr. Sanders last year — and, he believes, in 2016, too.

“I don’t think Trump is being honest, but I do think his voters may have been disenfranchised, but there is no way to prove it because we are not counting the paper,” he said. “We trust whatever is coming out of the machines.”

“Sewing complaints”-like with a needle and thread-seriously?

Is proofreading for proper grammar too much trouble?

The left’s hypocrisy is only dwarfed by their insanity.

more of “us” than “them”

A whole lot more

Its all kayfabe. Its what they want you to believe, its what they want you to “feel”

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kayfabe

The left is largely an illusion supported by propaganda and created by fraudulent electoral processes

“honest” votes for Biden were 30-35 million. At most.

What the left has done, ever since the 1984 Reagan-Mondale blowout-(and Mondale was a “moderate” !)-is to start electoral fraud programs in the largest states to turn them from Red-to-Purple-to Blue. They realized they had no future otherwise. It started in California and New York

This last election cycle local Texans managed to turn it around at the precinct level-their Rhino Governor not withstanding

Extreme involvement in your local precincts and making sure paper balloting on ELECTION DAY, with hand counts and recounts in a transparent fashion and setting with open audit trails available to the general public, among other measures-are key.

Its dirty, tough work and initially confrontational
with the existing perps, but it beats the heck outta the
alternatives -which are bearing down like a runaway freight train

The left has focused on corrupting this process-which originates in the deep urban centers. The process is very active presently in Georgia, using Atlanta as its base, the last 2 election cycles. This process is seditious.

We the People have no future otherwise

These people INTEND to “rule”

Well, the cardinals sew the ballots together with needle and thread during a papal election after they're announced aloud. Maybe it's something like that.

Most of the time I don’t comment on the atrocious grammar-but when it is a major publication, you’d expect that they could proofread-it should be “sowing complaints”-as in planting them like seeds-like sowing the seeds of discontent-not sewing with needle and thread...

True-but even bloggers for a major publication should have grammar usage skills to be a cut above the rest...

'We just trust the machines and we shouldn't'

Excellent! Great start! How many death threats have you had so far?

But, you forget the criminal Demon rats who were using the machines, who were handling the ballots, who wouldn't let the Repub watchers any where near the counters, or who won't even let watchers into the building.

Democrat voters, more than even Republican voters, have to face the reality that votes don't matter when the Uniparty showed the world they can rig an election in broad daylight with impunity.

Republican voters often relied on themselves whereas Democrat voters depended more on government. Now that the same government con artists don't need their votes any more, what are they to do?
