Former White House press secretary Sarah Sanders is expected to announce a run for governor of Arkansas on Monday, according to two people familiar with her plans.
Sanders has toyed with launching a campaign since leaving her post in 2019 and has been quietly planning for the bid over the last year. Current Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson cannot seek re-election in 2022 because of term limits.
Sanders, whose father, Mike Huckabee, was governor of the state from 1996 to 2007, is expected to launch her candidacy Monday.

Hopefully she doesn’t run on a GOP ticket. Anything other than that or DNC otherwise she will lose the maga voters. Well that is if the voting fraud is fixed. Doesn’t appear to be headed that way based on the bill put out by the demoncrats on election which includes harvesting and registering to vote online.
What is she supposed to run on, if not the GOP ticket?

If her father, who was a lousy and destructive RINO Governor who set the GOP back 40 years in Arkansas, is any indication of what she’ll be like, this is bad news. She needs to run for a lesser office first and prove she’s not like Huckster. We don’t need another Liz Cheney redux.
I live in California but will be happy to donate to her campaign knowing she won’t knife us in the back like a lot of Repugs have done.

Spoken like a died in the wool GOP member. Good job but there are millions of us that are done with the GOP and what they represent. I’ll never support another candidate of that party ever, no matter if they supported the President or not. The way you speak is that it’s futile to have another option out there. You also failed to address the rampant fraud that occurred and I’m sure it also occurred in the state she’s running in.

Attorney-General Leslie Rutledge is pro-Trump and has the experience to run for the job after what will be 8 years in office (she also joined the TX lawsuit). Sanders doesn’t have that, aside from managing a room full of lying, gaslighting seditionist propagandist media types. Her father, however, was a rotten RINO Governor, one especially infamous on being open borders and keeping de facto slave labor running the Tyson plants. I’d rather see what she can do from a lesser office before giving her the keys to the state.
