Yes, Wood sounded quite lucid during the Zoom meeting. However, when you are a defamation lawyer whose reputation among the profession (including judges) is under the train, clients with active cases will need to get off the train in the interest of self preservation.

If the defamation attorney Wood can defend himself against the charges, he can, in turn, sue those who have defamed him. In the end, the lawyers continue to expand their wealth.

You can have a brain tumor and sound quite lucid at times.

Tom Girardi could sound quite lucid as some questionable things were taking place....and now they are claiming he is not mentally there. Who can say whether that is a legal tactic or if he really does have dementia.

I am going with there is a medical cause for his aberrations. His words as shown by the court case sound like some kind of quasi God Complex or some other mental issue.
