How the Destruction of Grammar and Logic Got Biden into the Oval Office
American Thinker ^ | Robert Oscar Lopez

Many people snickered at the claim made in Texas v. Pennsylvania that there is only a one in a quadrillion chance that Joe Biden won all the swing states as currently claimed. The true meaning beneath the statistic is simple: the vote counts certified in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Georgia are fake, so let's cut through all the noise and decide what to do next. "One in a quadrillion" is a rarified way of saying it just didn't happen.

Texas's case was shot down because in the United States both grammar and logic have been overtaken by rhetoric.

The old trio: Grammar, logic, and rhetoric

Rhetoric is not the same thing as logic or grammar. Philosopher Richard Weaver championed rhetoric as a tool to share truth rather than skirt it. But ever since the ancient birth of "sophistry," there have been rhetoricians who see logic and grammar as disposable tools to support a primary rhetorical agenda. (Some call this, basically, propaganda.)

When people ask you, "how can 95% of doctors be wrong?" or "how can all the courts be wrong?," you should keep in mind that the overemphasis on rhetoric has been universal in colleges since the 1980s, even in Christian and conservative colleges. Professional degrees in medicine and law followed undergraduate degrees in which rhetoric, rather than literature, was used to teach people writing. This was the fruit of the endless battles over "general education" requirements.

Consider some stupid ideas that have attained a consensus in the worlds of medicine and law.

The same medical community that concluded that racial justice rallies were not dangerous during a COVID pandemic but patriotic rallies were also concluded that there is no purpose to indicating on birth certificates whether someone is male or female.

Biden cheated. I don’t need to read this nonsense to know that.

In yesterday's speech Plugs said not once, but twice, that his policies will result in "three hundred Americans" being vaccinated. Yet every news outlet reported that he said "three hundred million".

I think that that could qualify as "deconstruction".Or maybe downright lying.

I just thought it was manipulated voting machines, fake ballots and dead people that got Walter the dummy, elected.

It is a good article.

It shows how the population has been dumbed down.

I was taught much of this in high school, but logic used to be taught generally.

When you have a stoopid population they can be lied to with ease.

On it's face, your statement is, of course, accurate.

If it is intended as satire to demonstrate the use of rhetoric as pointed out in the article, it is clever.

Which is it? Or is it both?

My mom used to say when it comes to politicians “Watch what they do, not what they say”

The Democrats are saying that it was a legal election and Joe Biden got almost 82 million votes, devastating Trump by 8 million votes. That’s what they say.

Yet, they are trying desperately to prevent Trump from ever running again... That’s is what they are doing and they will tell you so. Why do they fear him getting back into office if they won by so many votes?

The answer is simple, the actions don’t match what they are saying. The actions tell you that they know they cheated, and they are scarred that they can’t do it again, so Donald Trump must be dis-allowed from running again because they won’t be able to stop him.

When it comes to politicians, actions speak louder than words. Democrats actions tell you they know they cheated, that they may not be able to do it again, so they have to prevent Trump from running again.

And when you have a population, half of which has been brainwashed by the media, it is even easier to feed them lies which confirm what their indoctrination has led them to believe.

The American Thinker had to put out an apology for implying that Obinden cheated in the election.. Maybe "Changing the language" sounds a little better, so that's what they did... :)

Apparently it was that or lose their server and everything they had paying lawyers..

“How the Destruction of Grammar and Logic Got Biden into the Oval Office”

Grammar and logic didn’t get Biden into office. Midnight ballot dumps and outright vote changing via software did.

They stole it and now trying to justify it. Anyone with half a brain knows it was voter fraud in the 5 battleground states.

This in-depth article makes interesting points and I need to read it again to get the author’s full thesis, I’m sure. I did not see him point out what I believe to be obvious about the ancient Greek concept of the Trivium (Logic, Grammar, Rhetoric) is that one does not stand without the support of the other two. Using rhetoric as a cudgel to beat logic and grammar into submission is certainly beyond the pale.

As for his closing thought on blaming the English departments for this situation, it’s going to require Doc Brown & his DeLorean to address this element. I was a college freshman in 1973 when I found out I was in a very small minority of students who had been taught anything like the Trivium in high school. The blank looks told the story in Freshman Comp I classroom when the concepts of rhetorical structure in expository writing were the subject of the day. Many were run over by that rhetorical truck.
