Instead of upholding a politically untenable federal union with radical Socialists who viciously despise us, let's embrace reality: the time has come for conservative/right libertarian towns, counties and states to seek autonomy from leftist control.
Let's maintain unity on the foreign affairs front, especially as it pertains to preventing foreign incursions into our country. Otherwise, states should once again control their domestic destiny.

The fact is..the founders vision for the United States was that the federal government was to make regular commerce between the states and foreign nations, and provide for the defense and general well being as a result of those two above.
That was about it. And to fund those, the federal government got the revenue out of import and export taxation.
