Snowy conditions are not keeping thousands of National Guard troops from protecting the Capitol, and neither are unanswered questions about whether officials have detected plans for a possible repeat of right-wing extremist violence.

Some Guard members have grumbled to reporters that they do not know why they remain in Washington, away from their day jobs and families, even as some units are heading home.

“We currently have just over 7,000 soldiers and airmen assigned to the National Guard mission in Washington, D.C., and we remain on track to draw down to 5,000 through mid-March,” D.C. National Guard spokesman Capt. Tinashe Machona confirmed to the Washington Examiner on Monday.

Who put the military in DC? The answer to that is all over the board but more than not say it was Trump and due to the Insurrection Act being signed. Where is Chris Miller? Is he gone or still there? What about Ezra Watnick Cohen? Gone or there? If the DNI report did in fact verify foreign interference in our election, why would the powers that be blow it off? I don't think they did. I believe the Act DID get signed. I believe something is going on militarily in our great nation. I heard today (and have not verified) that none of Biden's EO have yet to be memorialized. No clue if true. Bottom line for me: something is not right

Yes, they sent troops to Syria as soon as Trump left office. Since Biden doesn't know what day it is, it's not surprising that everything is chaos as those below him carve out their little empires without fear of oversight from POTUS.
