No threat and 5,000 National Guard needed to stand between the people and their representatives? Yeah, I'd say something is wrong.
What is wrong is that these impostors know that they all weren't actually elected legally, or they benefited from hacking the opposition primary to guarantee a win. They are now pissing off the NG, which has been called upon to protect them from the populace. If the DC elites lose the support of the NG, things could get interesting. We need an inside look on the Provost Marshals activities— those needed to enforce the continued commands on these NG members. Besides their still getting paid— it is the force individual units who are “no longer playing” would have to reckon with (the threat to their families back home, their jobs... and their very lives). Force discipline that has to be applied this way... well it leads to fragging.
