When I was in, we had what were called safety stand downs. If something happened like a plane accident, we had a stand down day to go back and review safety procedures and practices, and discuss the incident that led to the stand down. It was just to make sure people were in the correct frame of mind to go about the business of the day, which was being ready and trained to take the fight to the enemy.

So its not to 'do nothing'. Of course this is not a safety stand down, its an opportunity to invoke political officers and political correctness into the system. Under previous dem admins, it would be 'social engineering'. In today's post election steal, post capitol false flag storming, I suspect its more of a pre-purge and identification of those who wont swear allegiance to the regime. This is way more nefarious than in the past.

The military has not tolerated racism in half a century and does not now tolerate real extremism. But extremism has been redefined to mean anything not in agreement with the junta.
