Trump is NOT expected to face charges for paying hush money to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal as it's revealed the investigation hasn't been reopened and Michael Cohen hasn't heard from prosecutors since 2018

Donald Trump is not expected to face charges in the hush money payment scandal involving porn star Stormy Daniels and former playmate Karen McDougal, despite no longer having the shield of presidency, according to people familiar with the case.

The former president's exit from the White House last month prompted speculation that US prosecutors might revive the investigation that sent his former attorney, Michael Cohen, to prison.

Trump himself had been publicly implicated by prosecutors as complicit in Cohen's campaign finance crimes during his 2016 run for office.

How much did Joe Biden give the FBI to hush up Hunter Biden’s laptop?

I am unaware that Stormy ever shut up. Didn’t she have squabbles with her lawyer too?

Beoynd me why people continue to post claptrap from the Daily Mail. It is worse than the NYT and WP together for it biased writing and misinformation.

Ummm... maybe because he didn’t do anything illegal? I mean I know that prosecuting Republicans who didn’t do anything wrong has been all the rage for the last 4 years, but every fad passes in time

Typical liberal playbook. It was always about the optics of Orange Man Bad. It’s easy to make allegations, but it’s much harder to prove in court.

Beyond me why people continue to post claptrap from the Daily Mail.
Same here - it doesn't even qualify as a bird cage liner.

If i recall correctly her attorney was the epic Avenatti clownshow. Haven’t heard much from either of them for a while now. 😉

The whole 4 years was nothing but allegations, they just made it all up as they went along.

None of these “crimes” will prosecute anywhere.

It was always about the smear and when one smear was dying down, create a new one. It makes the perception that Trump is corrupt or doing illegal activities, however he has been been prosecuted for anything, nor will he.

Although affairs are not morally right, there is nothing illegal with Trumps legal agreements with the two women.

Because he didn’t pay “hush money”. They signed a contract, used quite regularly at higher income levels of the real world— to get rid of annoying gold digging blackmailers with false charges. In Trump’s situation,he never did what they tried to blackmail him with-— in the first place, and, it is far cheaper to engage a “NON-DISCLOSURE” waiver agreement for a sum of money, than to have interminable court hearings and responses and lawyer time to have to pay out for a NUISANCE.

Non-Disclosure is not “hush money” it is a contract for them to stay away, and which if they break the agreement THEY are liable for the damages they agreed not to disclose (whether false of true, the disclosure is not affirmed as to the verity of the claim. Most non-discloses do not even enumerate what is not to be disclosed!).
