I live in a county boarding Tulsa Co. I don’t know anyone who has gotten the vaccine. Tulsa and Oklahoma counties are not a good representation of Oklahoma.
My guess is that these pods are targeted for a specific group.

I’m still trying to figure out how the nfl can offer stadiums as vaccine sites. Unless I’m mistaken don’t the cities own most if not all these stadiums? That would make the cities call not the nfl would it not?
They want to apply everything of a national, Federal level. The input of the Individual states is not important.
I listened this week as one of our company VP’s openly praised Biden on a Zoom call due to his “action” on distributing the vaccine, and how much it will help the economy rebound. The VP’s heart may be in the right place, but as usual, details matter.
Also, not the first time praise was openly heaped on the left, while Trump (and in turn, anyone on these calls who may have voted for him) is denigrated, joked about and insulted.

Obviously, these sites need a razor-wire wall around them and 1000 National Guard soldiers with crew-served machine guns. And maybe some facial recognition cameras to ID the insurrectionistas.

Unfortunately, here in San Antonio, they are using the same “pod” approach (i.e. vaccination megacenters), and it is slowing the administration down seriously. They need to just send the vaccine doses to pharmacies, and de-centralize things.
It sorta works like Zycam nasal swabs when the first cold symptoms start. Although Zycam only lessons the symptoms and duration, this product kills Corvid while still in nasal passages, before it incubates and spreads down into the lungs. Sounds promising, plus it could be a great deterrent for cold and flu, if you know the early indicators.
And doctors are penalized if they don’t follow complex, conflicting vaccination standards ...
