Scarborough on BLM-Capitol Hill Riot Comparisons: Don’t ‘Confuse Taco Stands with the United States Capitol’

Tuesday, MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough addressed the comparisons of violent Black Lives Matter protests to last month’s riot at the U.S. Capitol by a group supporting former President Donald Trump.

Scarborough said anybody making the argument that the examples are similar “have to be really stupid.” He argued that “taco stands” are vastly different than the “insurrection” at the Capitol.

Smacks of elitism. The outrage about violence should be consistent across the board.

The LEFT has been supportive and encouraging the violence against main street and hysterically outraged over the violence at the Capitol.

I suppose it slipped his mind that BLM looted Saks Fifth Avenue in San Francisco and lots of other high end stores back in May.

BLM and ANTIFA have done billions of dollars in damage and theft not to mention the murders they have done.

First of all, this was a condescending dismissal of private property, on top of being wholly inaccurate.

But let’s go with his analogy - at least in a taco stand, you get what the owner promises you. You don’t like it, you don’t come back and they don’t come after you. The people running the Crapitol are rather different animals than that.
