I don’t remember the names, but I’ve seen at least two FReeper Scouting guys cheer girls in Scouting and effuse praise on the girls in their troops. Shocked me both times because, from an outsider’s perspective, it seems pretty obvious why each should be its own thing. Don’t get why they want to help destroy that institution.
An otherwise conservative former colleague was a big advocate for girls to join Boy Scouts. He didn’t want his daughter exposed to the feminazi propaganda the Girl Scouts offers, but wanted her to experience the ideals of Scouting. My thought was his family should get involved and make sure that the Girl Scout program was best it could be for his daughter.
As a former scout, I can attest that a mere sight of an attractive older sister picking up their younger brother from a troop meeting can change half the troop’s attitude. Raging hormones, lol.

I’ll give you one. It is me. I would be willing to bet these girls would kick your a$$ in the outdoors. When the young men of today grow up to be real men, they will want young women that can keep up with them.
The pioneers of this county walked from St. Louis to Oregon. They didn’t leave the women behind, the women walked right along beside them.
Scouts BSA teaches leadership. The merit badges are the tools and the camping is the classroom. If the scout is motivated, they can earn every merit badge there is. It is extremely rare to see a young man that motivated. Girls are that way all the time. They cause the boys to suck it up and get better.
