The Washington Post reported Monday that the emergency facility was being reactivated to hold up to 700 children ages 13 through 17.

Trump had worked out a different policy to replace the holding facilities. I believe the minors were placed in what was essentially foster care until their cases could be sorted out. Big bad evil Trump.
