Tom MacDonald is once again making his presence felt on the US iTunes platform.
His latest success comes courtesy new single “Clown World,” which is off to a strong start on the hip-hop/rap and overall song sales charts.
As of press time at 11:25PM ET Friday, “Clown World” holds the #1 position on the hip-hop/rap. It meanwhile sits at #3 on the all-genre listing; only Elle King & Miranda Lambert’s “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home)” (#1) and Lauren Daigle’s “Hold On To Me” (#2) are currently selling at a faster pace.
MacDonald’s recent releases have all been faring well on iTunes, with “Fake Woke” making a particularly big impact. The buzzy song enjoyed a run at #1 on the all-genre listing.

Yeah, I know, hip hop, but considering the genre, this is likely unlike any hip hop you've ever heard.
He seems to be going anti “woke” which is good.
Hopefully he continues to do well.
Someone posted Toms video on FR "Fake Woke" about a two weeks ago and I loved it.
Despite his appearance I have determined Tom is a man who the speaks the truth using his art. He's funny, he's playful and he attacks the very foundations of stupid culture.
He is having a profound impact on the pop culture and he is getting a lot of attention.
If you don't believe me go to YouTube and watch some of reaction of black people seeing his "Fake Woke" video for the first time. You can see their eyes opening to the truth he is saying. They agree with him.
He is defiantly a conservative and he is reaching an audience that until now we could never reach. Go Tom.

My favorite contemporary rapper is Bryson Gray, who waxed a number of tunes like Trump Is Your President (2020).

side story - I went to The Big Lebowski bar in Reykjavik Iceland.
I got hammered, ate foul fermented shark (Hakarl), and played trivia with lesbians. It was a very Dude evening.

Never heard of him (not that I spend much time in the world of hiphop) until a few hours ago, and just simply amazed I missed this guy’s rising career.
And I really think it needs to be underlined that this video, the audio, everything, was put together by 4 people, his girlfriend did the filming and editing, it’s just.. I mean, to do this pretty much at home and roughly in a minimal amount of time, it’s simply amazing what she put together to go with his lyrics.
And I’ve been spending a couple hours hitting up the reaction videos on youtube. I’d tripped across one negative, but.. Well, when you start out in the first few seconds with instead of worrying about what type of planet we leave for our kids, why don’t we think of the kind of kids we’re leaving for the planet, it kinda hits people right between the eyes.

OK, I listened to the song, and I agree with pretty much all the lyrics.
I am shocked that THIS!? THIS!? is what passes for a good song, worthy of being in a #1 spot? Seriously, terrible, terrible song.
