Just checked. Most recent numbers I could find were for 2019, number of vehicles Volvo sold in the US was between 100,000 and 109,000.

And that, apparently was a good year.

Okay, they can go electric with my blessing.

EXACTLLY -- Volvo is a niche player even in Europe. They will continue to sell - in fact they may even grow if they focus only on electric cars. But there will still be ICE car manufacturers.

Heck - the last manual typewriters were being made in India until 2017 - and they were high quality, but the sales worldwide dropped to a few dozen a year - not worth it for the manufacturers
