He tried so hard and that was honestly sad to watch.
Translation:
"The guy" Biden spent 15 seconds trying to name before giving up = U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin
"That outfit over there" = the Pentagon
In all seriousness, pray for this man, because regardless of his radical policies, he's the Commander in Chief of the U.S. and he clearly isn't doing well.

Maybe he had trouble remembering the name because he wasn't involved in deciding who his cabinet officers would be. Someone else (Obama?) did that and he just signed off on the picks. It's hard to imagine him having spent a lot of time pondering over the choices.
When he forgets the VP's name, that's when he will be in trouble and the walls will start closing in on him.

I like the concept of moving to Telingua Texas more inviting. Its inhabitants are mostly armed libertarians that just want to be left alone. They with rare exceptions are armed. Violent crime in Terlinga is rare.

She could have saluted but maybe she was afraid he wouldn't know to salute back.
