Wow Chuck really is as dumb as he looks. If governments had to account for their true deficits according to private sector accounting rules, accruing their future obligations to union members and their sanctuaried illegal aliens, the Rats would need closer to $19 trillion of Federal bailouts.
A basic principle of bailing someone out of debt in a single payment is this: you haven’t addressed the awful habits that got him in the hole in the first place.
So NY gets a handout. They’ll be back in debt shortly.
I live in NYS and I think this sucks.
