President Biden thinks he knows Florida better than their governor, Ron DeSantis. After all, the president recently threatened to reimpose lockdowns across the country.
"If we don’t stay vigilant and the conditions change, then we may have to reinstate restrictions to get back on track," Biden said. "And, please, we don’t want to do that again."
But the governor says that's not happening.
"To even contemplate doing any type of lockdown, honestly it's insane, and so that's not gonna happen in the state of Florida," DeSantis said at a press conference on Monday. "We're gonna continue doing what works, but under no circumstances would we entertain anything of the sort."
On "The Evening Edit" on Fox Business Monday night, Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) said he is "perplexed" by the president's "lockdown mindset" that is doing our economy no favors.
"I am perplexed by this administration's desire to keep this pandemic going," Cramer said. "We spent the last year plus trying to get rid of the pandemic. These guys seem to be elongating it. They want to spread their misery."
He mused that Biden was putting too much stake in what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Dr. Anthony Fauci tell him.
Cramer was confident that Gov. DeSantis knows far better than anyone in Washington whether Florida is ready to be open. That goes for the other 49 sovereign states too.
"I hope people get on airplanes and go to Florida," Cramer said. "I know I'm going to."

It’s true. And if the illegals can manage to ramp up infection rates, the media will never mention it, and Americans are far too stupid to put it together.

The pandemic has been good to them. Why willingly give up such a powerful political weapon? They have no qualms about wielding power with whatever tools they can use.
To Democrats, the ends justifies the means. That is the mindset that is running this country now.

IMHO, the Dems believe that keeping the pandemic going will help the Dems hold the house & senate in 2022. Then after the 2022 election, the pandemic will end in an effort to help the Dems win the 2024 election (WH, house, and senate).

Yes, they are. They are causing it and then intend to destroy the US and turn it into another Marxist dictatorship with a ruling elite and an impoverished proletariat which is permanently dependent. The hated, largely conservative middle class and small businesses, will have been destroyed and will never threaten them again.

Well, why wouldn’t they want the pandemic to continue? It’s been the best thing that’s happened to the Dimms, perhaps ever. Using COVID as the excuse, the Dimms:
1. Stole a presidential election and many other state elections
2. Are going to pass a massive tax hike
3. Will funnel hundreds of billions to their lackeys and other party cronies in undeserving states and cities
4. Successfully divided the country into warring factions
5. Have kept large portions of the citizenry in fear and immobilized
Stalin would have loved such conditions during his totalitarian rule.
