Black Lives Matter rushed at a Rochester supermarket, forcing staff at a supermarket to lock its doors and keep customers locked inside for nearly an hour during a demonstration to mark the one-year anniversary of Daniel Prude's death.

The staff of Wegmans closed the doors, to prevent the protesters entering, leaving around 100 customers inside on Tuesday.

Daniel Prude, 41, died after police were called by his family on March 23, 2020 for help with a mental health episode, exacerbated by the drug PCP.

I am confused with the timeline.

I thought George Floyd's was the first of these incidents. It got the most hype.

Breonna Taylor and Daniel Prude came before, not after George Floyd?

Why are they making such a big issue on the anniversaries of each of these? Are they leading up to something big in May?

A Wegmans grocery store is much more than a supermarket. They are amusement parks for adults.

All dopers have a “hard life”, by their choice.

When Wegmans Dulles opened, the brown shoe rubes in our nation’s capital went slack jaw.

Wegmans are my favorite stores. Geneseo, a little college town 30 minutes south of Rochester has one. The town is infested with BLM signs on the front lawns of college professors and employees. SMH

I used to like Weggies. But more of our local stores are carrying more of the house brand products. And I don’t care for them. They tend to have more sugar and/or salt than the products they’re replacing on the shelves. Also, I can and do get better produce at Wally.

They’re not doing it for a good reason.

Just something to keep in mind.
