One thing (among so many other things) I find troubling about this whole thing is just how quickly, even eagerly, so many young people embraced the rules of masking up, distancing, staying home, etc.
The same kids who routinely skipped school, lied about having their homework, broke curfews at home, lied to their parents about where they were going, and so on, suddenly are Obedient Model Citizens, wearing their masks and demanding that everyone around them, including people much older than them, wear masks as well.
I don’t need a flipping lecture - on anything - from someone who whines about their feelings, can’t decide which bathroom to use, and moans about their whiteness while crying about how black lives do so matter.
I want my America back.
