Arizona congressman Ruben Gallego wants the U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs to strip benefits from any service member or veteran who participated in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
"Any veteran, retiree, or servicemember who attacked the Capitol on January 6 should be stripped of all veterans’ benefits," the Democratic representative wrote on Twitter on March 19. "They simply don’t deserve them."

Not that it means anything to this Sh*+ head, but that is against the law. VA benefits are earned and can only be removed in specific cases like Timothy McVeigh. They changed the law specifically because of him. There are veterans in jail who still get benefits. Unless arrested and CONVICTED of treason, maybe sedation, certainly of terrorism, the VA cannot just willy nilly take away earned benefits.
This asshat begs the question, why are RATS so afraid of veterans? Could it be they do not get a lot of support from that community? I know vets who voted for Biden, so why this fear of veterans?
