"Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has ordered that the shipping containers should be removed from the huge Ever Given ship currently trapped in the Suez Canal."
"Now al-Sissi has been left with no choice but to order preparations to unload the ship’s cargo in an attempt to help refloat the boat, according to a statement from the Suez Canal Authority (SCA), as per Reuters."
"The rudder was not moving and it is now moving, the propeller is working now, there was no water underneath the bow, and now there is water under it, and yesterday there was a 4-metre deviation in the bow and the stern."
"However, a mass of rock was later found at the bow of the ship, bringing the progress to a screeching halt."

Don’t doubt one thing you’re saying.
But I do know one thing, our previous President would have offered any and all assistance to Al Sisi to get that thing moved and the canal back up and running. He has a clue as to how commerce operates.
But I’ll compare it to a multiple car wreck on any highway near you.
Here is a list of questions and answers from the senior LEO in the jurisdiction to his/her first responders....
Any fatalities? No, sir
How many lanes are blocked? All of them
Get it cleared right away
What took them so long to recognize the benefit of that???
Thanks!
I’ve been pondering with little success on why that ‘3’ was stuck in there, and in the middle of the call sign.

Agree 😊
That thought occurred to me too.
If you owned a ship, and planned to make a salacious track before entering the Suez, and then pouring on the gas with a hard rudder to ground it in the narrowest part, you’d probably pre-plan to overload the cargo for good measure.
Almost 30,000 containers on that one ship. Incredible size. Maybe they’ll restrict these ships in the future?
...or a float with a crane, between the barge and land. Line up the trucks...
Get ready.

“Built in Japan, owned by Taiwan, registered in Panama, and crewed by Indians. At the time of the wrecked piloted by Egyptians.”
Another option is bring a much smaller container ship along side and use that ship's on board cranes to offload onto the smaller ship. Whatever means are used, it's going to be a PITA and slooooo. I have no idea if this is reasonable or not.
They've got the next 2 or 3 high tides to give a go with what they have been doing.
Exactly. Nothing at all to do with China.
Sikorsky chopper crane!
The old way:
Raise the water level.
Steel Dams - above and below (canal locations).
Add water in to this temp. dry/wet dock, floating the ship.
Align ship with the more logistics-capable shore. Release water level.
Remove Steel Dams.
I wonder if a heavy lift helicopter could do it?
That’s just part of the conspiracy; don’t you see?
I think your weight is too high.55,000 lbs gross more common. Still too much for helicopter lifts.
Unloading...You need special people with special skills to remove that load....one box at a time.

Not to mention huge floating cranes as the ship is in the middle of nowhere
There were no slaves in the ‘old days’, that’s a 19th century myth still being pushed today to maintain the status quo and not a few professional careers.
