Yeah - maybe they’ll make a TV series about it like Carter Country - my folks told me all about it. I enjoy looking at old pictures on Shorpy especially the Depression pictures and white kids working circa 1900, all that white privilege stuff.

FDR's theme song was "Happy days are here again." Will we see people selling apples on street corners again?
The New Deal was a mix of good and bad ideas. At least FDR gave people hope, even if his policies probably prolonged the Depression. He didn't have dementia and he didn't purposefully try to inflame racial divisions like Clinton, Obama and Biden.
