“Aminadab” is a character in Joseph Smith’s Book of Mormon. As unlikely as it seems, LDS would seem to be a possiblity here. The Mormons fled to Mexico to escape persecution and continue polygamy. Quite possible he was born to or raised by Mormons.

Actually in the New Testament, Matthew 1:4 and Luke 3:33. Not a Mormon term.

“Aminadab” is a character in Joseph Smith’s Book of Mormon. As unlikely as it seems, LDS would seem to be a possiblity here. Amminadab (the father in law of Aaron) is mentioned in Exodus which was written long before Joseph Smith's ten times great grandfather was a twinkle in his daddy's eye.
