National Public Radio has corrected an online article that falsely asserted that documents from first son Hunter Biden’s laptop had been “discredited by U.S. intelligence.”

The only thing “stunning” was that NPR admits it lied through its teeth.

I have a question for Freepers with more knowledge than I have. Are there federal laws on the books that prohibit Government spending money on propaganda to influence the American public? Because NPR certainly fits that description.
Propaganda falls within the parameters of a free press. It is up to you to catch the stink. Not difficult.
One day, if Republicans every control Congress and the White House, they should cut 100% of federal funding to NPR and PBS. It won’t happen. They had their chances in the past, but they are a bunch of pussies that do not know how to fight. They don’t believe in capitalism. It is perfectly acceptable to Republicans to spend your tax dollars on all sorts of things that you do not want.

The last time I checked Merrick Garland is the AG. Does anyone really believe Hunter Biden will be charged, let alone convicted, of any crime? If so, I have a bridge you may be interested in buying.

A previous version of this story said U.S. intelligence had discredited the laptop story. U.S. intelligence officials have not made a statement to that effect.
They didn't say that their previous assertion that the Hunter Biden Laptop story being debunked by U.S. intelligence as Russian disinformation was a blatant lie, just that Intelligence Officials haven't made a statement to that effect.
