That’s the silly bit - this deal that Boris put out whereby the island of Ireland remains without a border and NI remains politically part of the UK worked well.
Politically - still the UK.
Economically - no disruption as the bulk of NI’s trade is with the Republic and secondarily with the rest of the EU. It does put some delays on trade with the rUK, but that is a couple of days delay and not affecting them generally.
The protesting seems nonsensical.
