I’m in favor of having the rule be, if you don’t report it to the police within 48 hours, then no action will be taken.

Enough of these years-later allegations.

If not the Police, TELL someone. The shock of a rape must leave the victim paralyzed for a few days but the assault must be recorded and medical attention is important.
However, if the “rape,” was a consensual sex act, remorse is no reason to accuse the other person years later.
Mothers and Fathers should make that clear to their daughters before they leave the house.
I am amazed to hear about young girls taking “the pill,”
supposedly for help in controlling their menstruation.
Is that always the need? I am just an old guy who never asked that question or knew anything about his three daughters and their time of the month.
