hands were out of view, then quickly turned with hands flying out... if he had a gun, the cop would be dead. The kid was too stupid to obey or act correctly. At 13, if you're running from police, you should know how to act once you're not running anymore.

The Woke Folks will want the cop fired, but I do not see any problem with his decision in this video. That 0.25 seconds that he had to decide what the kid had in his hand that was out of view the moment before are entirely the kid's fault.

I agree. I pity the police on this one, and many more. This kid reaped the results of his actions. 2:30 AM, running from the cops with a gun in your hand. That police officer likely saved future lives. If I were his parent, I would mourn but would not blame the police. Kid was feral, and had been for a long time most likely.
