Not just the vaccine. I distinctly remember back in the early days of covid that people on ace inhibitors were at higher risk for complications from the virus itself.
I wish the article said which type of blood pressure medication he was on.

Having high blood pressure at 47 is pretty bad. As people get older their arteries get harder and many are on blood pressure medicine. But at 47 that would seem to be serious.
