His district Inkster is a long row of boarded up former retail and office buildings interspersed with squad cars with lights on and officers handcuffing people. I have driven through Inkster on Michigan Avenue (close to Dearborn) and have seen this first hand.
So how much (like Pelosi and Waters) has he done for the downtrodden people of his district? Zilch.
Side note. Henry Ford helped found Inkster as a place for black workers employed in his large Ford Motor Company empire of plants, while whites could live in Dearborn. A history book said he liked Inkster and he took a personal interest in keeping Inkster doing well and being a place of opportunities up until his death on April 7, 1947.
Lawmaker is such a weird occupational title.
