Bullshit article

Based on bullshit theory

By folks with no real time experience

We are in no danger of becoming trip nation

Most people simply cannot handle it nor do I advocate it even as one who (learned) I could

Silly silly

And from the Federalist

They never were really in the business

An employee...
A good man I might add who recognized its power and dangers

Discovered it

They supplied very little commercially and to governments and study outfits

I’m sure it was very well made though....Swiss and all

I knew this article was bullshit when I saw mushrooms as mild hallucinations

That writer has not taken them

Or not enough of them..lol

The Sixties 2.0. And then, the Seventies 2.0. Ugh.

Unless a whole lot of people lose a whole lot of weight, it doesn't count. I'm sick at looking at chunky, fat & obese people. Especially the females who insist on wearing spandex. blech

The youth and psychedelics has ebbed and flowed since it started

Never went away it just makes less noise

The main difference is its all weaker

LSD and mushrooms for example they dose at around 20% what I did

Which is wise

More liberalism. More leftism. More emotionalism. More irrationality.more obedience. More totalitarianism.

Tim Leary, remember hir? Hir was talking about how we need to change gender pronouns fifty years ago.

>I wonder how many people were led into the danger of LSD use and never came back.

Roky Erickson (13th Floor Elevators)
Peter Green (Fleetwood Mac)
Syd Barrett (Pink Floyd)

Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) perhaps, hard to say where his different problems start/stop (mental abuse at home, drug abuse, drug “treatment”, etc).

Sad stories. Can’t remember a couple I could add right now-—maybe Moby Grape’s Skip Spence but he may have just been tipped over the edge which was getting closer anyway.

The street people are the ones that concern me most. Many of them can’t split a 12 pack three ways without trouble. My favorite fishing hole has homeless folks and wild mushrooms. For the most part, everything seems pretty chill. But, meth or alcohol can enter the picture. And most of them are candidates for going sideways, even when sober.

I don’t know if Sly Stone is another.

And no doubt there are “never wuzes” who became burn outs before they became known.

Backwater.

The herp groups are always full of horrible things.

Never made it below Jacksonville, way back when I was a Navy wife.

Pretty sure we can add Jim Gordon to the list but not sure if it was LSD or other drugs that sent him over the edge. Or maybe drugs + schizophrenia.

I checked their prices when I wanted a snapper. They seemed competitive. Then I saw that they wanted $60 for a Rough-skinned Newt. What the hell? If they’d take them in trade at $10 a head I’d be up to my neck in herps. I went with Underground Reptiles.
