(Columbus) - The Ohio Republican State Central Committee is expected to vote Friday on a resolution from one of its members to censure U.S. Rep. Anthony Gonzalez of Rocky River, along with the other nine GOP members of the House who all voted to impeach former president Donald Trump, because of their belief Trump instigated and supported the insurrection at the U.S Capitol building on January 6.
A copy of the resolution obtained by cleveland.com does not call for concrete actions, but in the long run, it could lead to Ohio GOP leaders backing a challenger to Gonzalez in the 2022 election. In fact, former Trump aide Max Miller has already said he will run against Gonzalez in the 2022 Republican Primary.
Of the ten House members who voted to impeach Trump, the best known is Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Some Republican members of the House want to have her removed as chair of the House Republican Conference, which is the third-highest ranking post among House GOP members.

The only death attributed to the protest is the murder of Ashli Babbitt by the Capital Hill force. The rest were incidental due to natural causes.

We can only hope that this succeeds. Prior to this, Gonzalez was what I considered a pretty good representative. After, well, this instantly lost my vote and nothing he can do except suicide bombing the capitol with a nuclear device can earn it back. If he is somehow able to pull off that impossibility then I would vote for him again.
Never forget that it was the RINO-controlled state legislatures who gave the steal to Biden.
What do you think a Democrat-controlled state legislature would have done if the Democrat candidate was ahead and then millions of mail-in ballots gave the win to the Republican?
Gotta give the Dems credit -- they stick together and play to win.
If we can just vote out the RINOs, then the GOP would be unstoppable.
The only thing that would satisfy me, related to these GOP scum, is the implementation of the SSS strategy...
Without John K at the top of the ladder, Ohio GOP is showing a spine. And, much to his dismay, Ohio did go for Trump...Big Time.
