On February 3, 2021, in the wake of the “deadly events” of 1/6, Biden’s new Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a 60-day stand-down and total purge of the U.S. military’s rampant, undefined “extremism” problem. Though the details of this purge were always kept vague and framed in apolitical terms, it was immediately obvious the target would be MAGA — with the buzzword “extremism” tagged onto various proxies for Trump supporters, conservatives, and opponents of globalism of all stripes.
We now know the hatchet man the Pentagon has selected to carry out this MAGA purge of the American defense forces, and the entire operation is worse than you could have ever imagined.
The Biden administration has just put the equivalent of Ibram X. Kendi in charge of vetting the entire U.S. military.
This hatchet man’s name is Bishop Garrison, Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Defense for Diversity and Inclusion:

We’ve already had two commanding officers of local naval vessels relieved from command for “failure to inspire confidence.” My guess is they posted pro Trump comments on their Facebook pages.

This is openly preparation for dealing with the public. They do not want anyone in the military that might have doubts as to what they must do.
All in the name of law and order and for our own good.

Why not? What’s to stop them?
The military is methodically being turned into a “club” for every sexually deviant persuasion one can think of, and the recruiters are going to be left with taking every one of them in to satisfy HQ’s staffing demands.

This is not new to the military...
In the early 70s they had ‘Race Relations’ that was mandatory for white servicemen and women in the USAF but the blacks didnt attend ...
The whites were told they were racists and to stop being so...
This was during a time that the black servicemen were raping and sexual molesting white women and fighting the white servicemen...usually with knives...only the white guy got in to trouble...
White women were tossed out of the military as unfit if they reported the black rapists...
There was also a monthly group that met to discuss ‘race relations’ problems on the base...a representative from each squadron attended both officers and non-coms...regardless of the list of other problems that the leading officer might want to put forward, a black man would want to complain about the local bars where the girls would not date the black men...these bars were off-limits to servicemen but nobody dared mention that fact...
The white officers were afraid of the black servicemen...
Oh, well, we’ll just have to go home them.

Maybe... perhaps more context could be dug up and posted here for consumption?
Also- thinking about the US Navy ships that collided with cargo ships out on a vast ocean... and wondering about the promotional tracks of the officers on board.

I fear that you may be correct. They need soldiers, Marines, and airmen that will follow any order, not just legal orders. Perhaps I am influenced by a movie I recently saw on the interrogation of Adolf Eichmann, but it seems Eichmann was just following orders as he shipped millions to their deaths. He didn't think himself responsible because he was only providing transportation (paraphrasing).
Quite honestly, we need a balance in political thought by members of our armed forces, but an absence of politics. The military is/was a melting pot, that could make brothers of men from many different backgrounds. It's business should solely killing and breaking things when diplomacy doesn't work.

And therein lies the crux of the matter.
Thinking about all of the recruiting commercials over time devoid of the military’s primary mission. FAIL!
