There have been a couple of threads today by Victor Davis Hanson about the “Sovietization” of America.
Some people have quibbled about the “Soviet” part. Is is more China? What? But, yeah, we’ve seen this movie already. We are in a totalitarian regime and it’s ugly.
Couldn’t agree more. Someone said history doesn’t repeat it rhymes.
Echoes of Cultural Revolution under Mao. Echoes of military purges under Stalin. Echoes of race driven politics like Nazi Germany. Not one bad parallel but many.
