And I’ll bet those jobs are real low paying. The bs about people not wanting to work is just that bs. Try paying people a decent wage and see how fast those get filled.
If all of this govt largess breaks the cheap labor express model then it will have good long term outcome.
How about paying what the market will bear? Government interference in the market (i.e. paying wages for no work) is creating a worker shortage. Remove this deformation and the market will set wages appropriately. Unskilled labor will be paid according to their limitations until they acquire skills, just as more highly skilled workers merit higher pay.
