All true...but relying on immigration to raise population is bad. In the long run we need to hit 2.1 or greater TFR every year.
Mass immigration is worse than less than replacement rates. Population decline is not in and of itself bad. We don’t need 500 million to a billion people. With our national debt approaching $30 trillion and our entitlement programs representing an $100 trillion unfunded liability, we need to consider how an ever increasing aging population coupled with longer life spans will impact our future.
Again, we don’t have a population problem in terms of having enough people. The hype about lower than replacement level birth rates is meant to convince the US public that we need to raise immigration levels and import more foreign guest workers. The Dems, MSM, Big Tech, and the global corporatists are behind it. They want to continue to have access to an inexhaustible supply of cheap labor.
They are screwing the American worker and the middle class. It is the reason why real wages have stagnated for almost 50 years. If we had a shortage of labor, wages would be going up, not down or stagnating.
