Opening up vaccination to those 12-17 years old might bump up numbers also.
Additionally, some of the negative impression from the J&J pause may wear off.
The 12-17-year-olds will certainly boost the overall population numbers. Though, to me, the percentage of adults is the most important number. Most especially the 65 and up demo which is poised to hit an astounding 85%!
Overall, the J&J pause may turn out to have been beneficial with its lower efficacy.
