I've stopped watching almost all TV news programs, and my life has become so much calmer.

Now I know why most of Americans go through life like a cork floating down a small stream, "No worries, mate".

If you don't know anything, you never see, or care about the freedoms that you are losing.

When they are gone, and the USA has become Venezuela, we can all eat rats.

At my age and with my culinary skills, I can probably exist on Grilled Rat for the rest of my time, I don't know about young people.

Do I need to show the S/OFF tag?

Sunday morning shows: Democrats say Republicans are bad; Republicans say Democrats are bad. Same old stuff. Not watching.

That's a great idea and Rush Limbaugh used to say this.

Turn them off.

That's the quandary, for sure. I'm financially good, older, so often wish I didn't give a rip. Plus there's the Just exactly what to do besides vote thing.

But turning a blind eye doesn't accomplish a dang thing, either, and this country is worth saving. Keeping an eye on the opposition's moves is telling, if exasperating.
