He was right about "risky schemes," but he was (typically) projecting what the Democrats were secretly scheming.
They are still scheming.

That was his term for the privatization of SSI. While we got angry over the word scheme the real key word was ‘risky’. Why? His quote was aimed at women-they don’t take risks. Very smart of him. Caught us asleep at the switch. Same as ‘soccer moms’(B.J.) and “no Russian missiles are aimed at America’s children”. Debate talking points. They’re better at it than we are.
