A U.S. Space Force commanding officer was removed from his post after publishing a book that warned of the spread of Marxism and critical race theory in the military.
The Space Force confirmed that it relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, a former instructor and fighter pilot, as commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron.
“Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting, Space Operations Command commander, relieved Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier of command of the 11th Space Warning Squadron, Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado, May 14, due to loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead,” the Space Force said in a statement to various news outlets over the weekend.
“This decision was based on public comments made by Lt. Col. Lohmeier in a recent podcast. Lt. Gen. Whiting has initiated a Command Directed Investigation (CDI) on whether these comments constituted prohibited partisan political activity,” according to the statement.
The “public comments” that he made in a podcast were likely in reference to the spread of Marxist ideology within the military, which was detailed in Lohmeier’s recently self-published book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.”
Lohmeier had appeared on the podcast “Information Operation” to promote his book, and during the show, he criticized Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s agenda. After Austin’s confirmation, he ordered a “stand down” to deal with alleged extremism within the ranks of the U.S. military coming after the Jan. 6 Capitol breach.
“I don’t demonize the man, but I want to make it clear to both him and every service member this agenda—it will divide us. It will not unify us,” Lohmeier said, adding that Austin is promoting “diversity, inclusion, and equity,” which he and others have said are “rooted in critical race theory, which is rooted in Marxism.”

Not only is this not a surprise to me as career military it is par for the course. The infiltration of our military by Marxists/Leftists has been an ongoing mission of the left. This is the same purposeful infiltration that the left has undertaken in these institutions they have undertaken in all other areas of our society. From the Clergy to the Entertainment industry, to Corporate Boardrooms to our Gov’t.
They have managed this under the noses of the average American because the Average American could not be bothered to get involved in this cultural war.
The average American just wants to be left alone to raise their family and live their life. Don’t bother me with all that other crap.
Leftists realized this weakness decades ago and have taken full advantage of the Average American’s complete complacency. And, this complacency continues for the most part to this very day.

“Normalcy Bias”
It is far worse than that. Whenever I bring up these things to my family and friends they reject it. They do not want to get involved at all. In any way. They get upset at ME for bringing the subject up for discussion. Which I point out to them, makes my point.
When I point this out to them they get even more upset and tell me to mind my own business and to leave them alone with my politics.
They just do not want to be bothered with any of this. They do not care nor do they want to be involved in any way with the culture war. They just want to be left alone to live their lives in peace.
When I press them about what will they do when they are no longer allowed to live their lives as they wish. They just shut down. Unwilling to even contemplate that and do not want to think about it or discuss it.
This is why the Marxists will eventually win. There are far too many people like this. The Chinese, the Laotians, the Russians, the eastern Europeans, the Jews, etc...

I would never have come close because I do not suffer fools and there would have been many that I would have come across in the climb to that position. There needs to be a close examination of the men (and women) that are the present leaders of our Military Services.
We suppose that there are dedicated Warriors among our military leaders. Surprise, we are wrong, they are politicians first, warriors last.
If a General has concern about his Officers being critical of Marxism or Critical Race Theory,” he should be fired!!
I talked to my last Bn Cdr and he said that he was going to retire after his current assignment. I asked him why and he said that from O6 onward, its all politics and he wanted none of it.
This man should be re-instated and promoted to general in a future Republican administration....assuming there is one.
