Prince Harry said in a recent podcast interview with Dax Shepard that America’s First Amendment is “bonkers.”
Prince Harry was discussing his new role at a non-profit called the Aspen Institute with Shepard on his podcast, “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard.” He will serve on the “Commission on Information Disorder” and will conduct studies with 14 other people on a panel to analyze the spread of incorrect information throughout the country, according to The Spectator.
“As I’ve said, the experience of today’s digital world has us inundated with an avalanche of misinformation, affecting our ability as individuals as well as societies to think clearly and truly understand the world we live in,” Prince Harry said about his new job. “It’s my belief that this is a humanitarian issue and as such, it demands a multi-stakeholder response from advocacy voices, members of the media, academic researchers, and both government and civil society leaders.”
When discussing the spread of misinformation, Prince Harry expressed confusion with the First Amendment.
“I’ve got so much I want to say about the First Amendment as I sort of understand it, but it is bonkers. I don’t want to start going down the First Amendment route because that’s a huge subject and one which I don’t understand because I’ve only been here a short time,” Prince Harry said. “But, you can find a loophole in anything. You can capitalize or exploit what’s not said rather than uphold what is said.”
Prince Harry’s comments drew rebukes by many on Twitter.
He heard Bonkers, and thought that meant Bonk Her.
He isn’t going to like the second one then....
You know what’s bonkers? An hereditary monarchy in the 21st Century, that’s what.
Poor Harry, too dumb to know our American ancestors fought and defeated the oppressive, tyrannical rule of his ancestors.
Can’t wait to hear what he has to say about the 2nd amendment.
I think Americans don’t completely understand what “bonkers” means. It could be interpreted to mean, “That first amendment is craaazzzeee.”
That’s how hear it’s.
It’d seem to me that he ought to be looking for a ‘land’ that fits his priorities (maybe like Cuba, North Korea, or Venezuela).
That is why we are no longer subservient to your kind. Go back where you came from.
He also goes on to say he ‘doesn’t understand it’ which would be normal for a Brit................
Then proceeds to spew his ignorance while pretending to be an expert. Harry, just go away.
I’d respect it, if it actually were one (to wit: actually wielded real power, not just merely figurehead).
Either way, PRINCE Harry can pay his own way back to England, while reading an American History textbook’s chapter on the Revolution and why it happened.
He’s just trying to get Meghan to STFU.
So does King Harry want to degree what is allowed or not allowed as in the good ole days of yore?
Gee, after Cher, Alyssa Milano and Whoopi Goldberg, I was yearning for some more wisdom and counsel from someone who is ignorant and foreign to tell me how to appreciate my own country.

Harry is a weak link to the Royal Family.
If some radical Muslims are looking for some disgruntled insider to help them bring havoc and doom to Buckingham Palace, Harry would be their man. He has an ax to grind, and he doesn’t know when to shut up. This has gone beyond just being a sad joke. Prime Minister Boris better be paying attention to this national security risk.

I never really “got” why Janet Napolitano (Obama years) called the White Conservative male the biggest terror threat, even in the face of knowing Muslim extremists wanted to kill us all.
